Hey Derek: I caught another Mr. Pinchy less than a week after my first one but I was in the fishing daze so I ended up missing the "DOTH THOU WISH TO BIND WITH LOOT?!" message with my recast. I didn't feel like a putz though because two days later, I caught another Mr. Pinchy and was actually paying attention. Huzzah. Sups free pots.
Some people like to role play when it comes to MMORPGs. I just draw. It's sort of hard not to (draw) when you think about it.. you spend how many hours staring at the same character, you start getting ideas.
I can't fathom what kind of person role plays in video games or in general, but I can sort of guess it's for the same reason: commitment or/and liking something. Role players are still weirdos though.
Also worth noting: I'm about to hit 48 hours of being awake. I didn't attempt this on purpose. I just never went to sleep. :/ And I'm not sleepy as far as I can tell. Just still sore from exercising.
I've started work on a new painting. I think if this one turns out really crappy, I might abandon the whole painting idea. I'm running out of Crayola paint and drawing paper.
You can't see, but there's a lot more to the drawing. And I plan to glue a golden paper crown above her head. When I'm done with this, I'll get started on the partner painting who will be her king. All of this is based on the following idea sketch from June 2005 about two completely incompatible, social inept people who're the archetypes for every person I've ever known in San Francisco.
I'll post a non-blurry version when I'm actually done.
Quick facts about the red squirrel:
- Aren't keen on sharing food with other red squirrels.
- The red squirrel puts food away for winter but actually doesn't remember the location after the fact. It has to search to find it.
